very good story

Summary
Alex Hollister was always one step ahead of the rumor mongers. As the reclusive A.H., she was a successful horse breeder, an unbeatable jockey, and a savvy businessman. As the fair Alexis, she was a demure and proper lady. Her life was exactly how she wanted it, and her plans were finally ready to be enacted.
Everything was running smoothly until her temper landed her in a marriage with a man who didn't want her, a man who could ruin everything she had worked so hard to achieve.
Marcus Clifton wanted nothing more than to outlive the falsehoods that had ruined his family's reputation. He had worked hard to get back into the good graces of the elite and had even arranged a marriage that would make the past rumors disappear altogether. He thought he finally had everything that was important to him.
Then his cozy and disciplined life came to a crashing halt when an act of uncontrolled temper ended in a marriage with a woman who could destroy it all.

What's Important...
The Infamous A. H. by Dawn Chandler pulled me in immediately. Alexis and Marcus had known each other for years and finally saw each other for what they really were. I enjoyed how Alexis had an unbreakable spirit and heart of gold. She saw beneath the surface, and had incredible grit. Julia Eve was magical bringing the characters to life. She gave them distinguishable voices, and made certain ones repugnant to match their personalities. I found the unexpected twists in the book to be great too. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for recommending this listen. I loved it!

A Delight!
Loved the characters, loved the story and loved the narration.
This is a well put together product and it was very easy to listen to.
I was especially impressed with the strength of character written for A.H., the heroine. She is a force to be reckoned with!
Something that really amused me was the 'five men", comprising of family members and friends, who had to continuously either look for her or prevent her from doing something bad or crazy whenever she was upset.
Mystery, intrigue and laughter are plentiful and I enjoyed it very much.
I listened to an audiobook version and my voluntary and unbiased review of it is recorded above.
