Summary

Solving a murder way too close to home, Alison Kerby can't catch a break.

If Alison Kerby really wanted peace and quiet, she never should have opened the Haunted Guesthouse. The Jersey Shore lodge's latest polter-guest is Richard Harrison, the recently murdered brother of long-time resident ghost PI Paul Harrison.

Alas, a beyond-the-grave brotherly reunion is nowhere in the foreseeable future - phantasmal Paul left the guesthouse months ago for parts unknown, and for all her ghost-whispering prowess, Alison has no idea how to find him. And she's going to need Paul, because Richard's isn't the only murder still unsolved.

Richard, a lawyer in life, tells Alison that he had been working the case of a woman accused of murdering her stepfather. When Richard got too close to the truth, he was permanently silenced. Now, as Alison searches for Paul, she gets a creeping sensation that the murderer doesn't appreciate her snooping around. If she doesn't succeed in her hunt, she has the feeling that she'll be the next to haunt the house.

a good 'read' !

very formulaic but fun anyway. A light hearted detective romp with a difference. There nothing spooky about these books so if you want a fright these books are not for you.

I’ve Missed the Guesthouse!

I was thrilled when looking around I saw not one, but TWO Haunted Guesthouse Mysteries! Between EJ Copperman’s witty writing, and Amanda Ronconi’s sassy narration, these books are a hit!

Needs more new elements

I have loved this series. The ending was good but I found the majority a bit off. Perhaps it is time to include new characters more

Enjoyed it with a few exceptions.

After Reading all nine books I have to say I liked the idea of the stories and narration but there is alot of repeated fillers that I think were unnessuary and by the end of the last few books became anoying and involved alot of skipping threw to get to the main part of the story line. I still enjoyed it and the humor of it all.

MORE PLEASE ❤️

I love this series because there is always something happening! Never boring because it is Funny, mysterious and the characters come alive. Amanda Ronconi rocks her narrations in every book she reads! If you want a great listen you need to listen to this series in order so you will get to know each and every one of the characters. You won’t be disappointed.
