I enjoyed the story line and hearing of the families history. The characters were likeable and believable.
The narrator sounded quite robotic and didn't seem to understand punctuation. The speed went up and down too.
I persevered, and I'm glad I did as I grew used to it, and it was worth it to hear the full novel.
