I’m a fan of David Sodergren. For me, his work has the feel of James Herbert but with the some of the pure monster horror of Richard Laymon, all whilst keeping his own unique style which, in my eyes, makes him much better than the latter. It’s fun, no nonsense horror with some wonderfully gory descriptions. Ok, it’s not the most original plot, but I think its originality is enough for it to stand out on its own.
If you have had enough of bending your brain with exhausting non-fiction, then sit back and relax with this fun novel!
Personally David’s books are right up my street and I can’t wait for his other works to be released on audible.

This is such a strange combination of cozy anti-billionaire more power to a determined, sweet, old lady fighting the power and nightmarish and disgusting body horror and monstrous violence.

Never have a read something so cozy that also contains sexual violence, elder abuse, and many instances of the word "cunt".

This was just immensely readable and entertaining.

I absolutely loved this!

Quite a good book, passed a few hours. Like an old b rated horror movie. The only thing it didnt need was the diary at the end.

A good old fashioned horror

I listened to this all in one sitting. Couldn’t stop because it was so riveting. The audiobook version of a real page turner. Loved it. Brilliant characters i genuinely cared about and a compelling plot. Didn’t want it to end!
