About this listen

The comedic and lovable heroine, Agnes Browne, has a French lover, six children in their 20s - including one in prison - and a wee grandchild of her own. a good book to listen to very interesting, I would recommend this audio book

I loved this story, it brought back memories about raising my own family. There are lots of laughs and aghh moments. There are also the moments when you need to get a hankie and have a good cry. The narrator, Mark O'Regan, has a lovely soft voice that brings all the characters to life. I was left wanting to know what happened next. What did this character do? The story had caught me, like only good tales can. I recommend this book to others as it's like a hot chocolate, it makes you feel better. Brendan O'Carroll has written a picture of family life that the reader can easily relate to.
