Summary

Spending Halloween in a haunted house is nothing out of the ordinary for Danielle and Lily. After all, Marlow House Bed & Breakfast has its own fulltime ghost. But there is another haunted house in Frederickport, Oregon. Yet, its ghost only shows up on Halloween. Why just once a year? And how is this frightening spirit connected to all that's happened to Danielle since she arrived in town?

As Danielle tries to sort through the Halloween haunting, Sadie the golden retriever has her own issues - a mysterious cat who seems even more adept than Sadie at communicating with spirits.

Harvey Toys With Danielle

Bobbie Holmes has a way of pulling you into her stories and you not wanting to set her stories aside. It seems many of the same characters pop up in each story, but that is the reason you should start from book 1, for if not you could be stranded wondering who's this?
All in all she sure has a imagination. I have enjoyed the five I have listened to do far.

Credit is due for her Narritor, Riely Nordlinger, for you can have a well written book, but a lousy Narritaton the story is nlown. Believe me I have run into that situation before and returned a Audiobook. Bobbie needs to stick with her.

This is a ghost story, but nothing a teen couldn't deal with. Remember my top and start with book 1, The Ghost of Marlow House.

I think Danielle has a think with Walt too. To bad it will never work.
Enough said, enjoy.

Another good one!

This one was more suspenseful and again the ending surprised me. The characters are familiar now and their evolvement is very interesting. The new characters are interesting and engaging.

Good read..Bad listen

I read the first 3 books and fell in love with the series and all the characters. I bought the audible book with this one and had to switch back to reading. The narrator has a beautiful reading voice while telling the story but some of her character voices sound Betty Boop-ish or worse. I loved Lilly when reading , BUT, when I heard narrator read her voice Lilly became as irritating to me as the narrator's voice. way too much squealing for me. I'm just saying... but everyone has their own opinion. just throwing mine in the bucket. I'll be reading the rest of this series as long as it goes on!!
