Story
When some pretty little thing shows up at my doorstep with a suitcase, claiming she rented my house for the summer, I waste no time informing her that my house isn't for rent. Some Internet jack*ss scammed her out of all her money, but that's not my problem. Only when I find her sleeping in her car a couple days later, I can't turn my back. I make her an offer: room and board in exchange for working on my ranch. She agrees, and I open my doors to a girl who sings too loud, sticks her nose where it doesn't belong, and distracts me with her tight jeans and those full lips.

Summary
Taya is almost there. Join her in this real life fairytale, set in the small town of Silver Creek, as she plans to start a new life by opening a little restaurant. Only to find a few rude people that don't seem to welcome her. But that doesn't seem to bother Felix Frogg, a local police officer, and the love-at-first-sight reactions he keeps tossing her way. If Taya isn't careful with the way her heart is softening towards Felix, she could be walking into a lifetime commitment of happily ever after that wasn't in her plans.

Fairy tale quirky and fun!
Quick and easy to listen to, this book is the third in the series. While each story is stand-alone, the books feature characters from earlier in the series. As such, it makes the stories more interesting if they are read in order.
Silver Creek is a somewhat magical small town where the inhabitants can fall in love instantly, despite their best intentions. Taya and Felix's story doesn't actually resemble the original fairy tale but it is still sweet. It is a soft, romantic story about falling in love and finding home. Like the original fairy tales, the good characters are almost too good to be true. No thinking is required on the part of the reader/listener. This book is just old fashioned, feel-good entertainment and escapism.
Angie Hickman has a lyrical quality to her narration that works well with this genre.

Fun Listen!
I love the quirky characters in this series. The books are standalone listens and yet mention characters from other books as a side note. The narrator adds so much to the story with her multiple characters she performs in distinguishing voices. I really enjoy this series and am glad I requested this review copy audiobook and wrote my review. I think the author is very talented in how she is able to write humor into the books along with a moral. This story showed that prejudices are not acceptable. I will definitely listen to more books by both the author and narrator.

Great Book!
This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Sweet Modern Fairytale
Taya has divorced her deadbeat husband and moved to Silver Creek for a fresh start. Romance is definitely the last thing on her mind. Officer Felix Frogg is determined to win her over and make her his wife but outside forces threaten to derail his plans. When push comes to shove, will Taya fight for their chance at a happily ever after?
What a cute story! I admired Taya's courage in the face of blatant prejudice and loved her sassy spirit. No one was going to get in the way of her happiness. Taya and Felix's story left me with a smile on my face when it ended, which is just what a romance should do. Angie Hickman once again did a terrific job with the narration and I hope that she continues narrating this series. I loved this story and I would recommend The Frogg Princess: A Real Life Fairytale: A Silver Creek Novella Series, Book 3.

Sweet and fun
I'm really enjoying this series and this book is a great addition. I love that we get to catch up with the characters from the first 2 books and see how things are going for them.
Taya is a fantastic character, she has so much sass and she's able to hold her own. Felix is a mixture of confidence and insecurity that make for an interesting dynamic. The two of them spark together really well.
This is such a fun book to listen to, it's going on my re-listen list.
The narration is fabulous, the character voices are really well done and the delivery is perky and upbeat which is perfect for this story.

Modern day Fairytale
I love these short novellas and cute retelling of classic fairy tales most of us grew up with. the humorous way Jamie Brook Thompson retold the Princess and the Frog in this audiobook kept me interested. I love that the other characters from the past 2 tales are part of the story as well and that you get a little preview of the next book as well.
Angie Hickman does a great job narrating. Her tone and pace is perfect for a fairytale and she gives each character a different tone and inflection so you can tell them apart. She also does comedy well so you can enjoy the book and also fell the drama when it's appropriate.

fun short
I enjoyed this fun short, an interesting twist on a fairy tale and set in a contemporary setting. Taya is a spunky young woman looking for a new beginning in a small town and she finds something she didn't expect, real love with Felix who has no problem showing his feelings. Mix of fun, a bit of drama, new found friendships and a HEA made this an enjoyable listen.
Ms. Hickman's voice is pleasant, the accents are varied, loved the one she gave Taya, the male voices are not as good, enjoyed it anyway.
I was given this free review audiobook at my request and this review is voluntary.
