Story
Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they're crazy, but it's the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy's at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time. But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven't met yet, they're about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rule book out the window....

Story
When Mimi first visits her dad's new home in the Cotswolds, she falls in love with Goosebrook and the people who live there. (Well, maybe not snooty Henrietta, who lets Mimi walk miles in the rain rather than give her a lift.) There's Paddy, with his flashing eyes and seductive charm. Friendly and funny Lois makes Mimi laugh. And seriously gorgeous Cal is welcoming and charismatic. Though Mimi loves her city life and her career, she'd be very happy to return to Goosebrook if it means seeing more of him.

Story
Laurie is pretty sure love at first sight doesn't exist. After all, life isn't a scene from the movies, is it? But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man whom she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Laurie thinks she'll never see the boy from the bus again. But at their Christmas party a year later, her best friend, Sarah, introduces her to the new love of her life. Who is, of course, the boy from the bus.

On the one hand, if Essie hadn't written that letter - the one that only her best friend was meant to see - then she'd still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding.... On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn't accidentally taken the Internet by storm, that is), she never would have met Zillah and Conor - not to mention Lucas. And she'd never have found out just how much life there is to be lived....

Dan and Gemma have found their dream first home, but the asking price is the stuff of nightmares. The only way they'll ever save for a deposit is by returning, rent free, to Dan's childhood home. Obviously no one wants to move back into a bedroom still adorned with Kylie posters, with a mother whose culinary skills are noted for their spectacular gastrointestinal effects. But it's for only six months. Even they can manage that. Surely.

Pointless
Not easy to follow if you listen to in sections as it darts backwards and forwards through their relationship.
I was debating to request a refund for the book but will give it the last download to redeem itself.
Save your credits, its doesn't pull at your heart strings and very predictable.

A disappointing one from Ali Harris
I enjoyed Ali Harris' previous book, A Miracle at Regent Street - but this one is really boring. There seems to be no plot and the main character, Molly Carter is unsympathetic and uninteresting. The narrator gets to my nerve every time she does the voice of Casey, Molly's best friend. She shouts unnecessarily. Please don't waste your money or more importantly, your time with this book.

An Interesting Read
My honest opinion is that overall this was a good story, but there is an awful lot of jumping around. I struggled at first, but persevered, and was pleased I did continue. The story was well narrated and I would probably look to read another of Ali Harris's novels.

Naff storyline and annoying voices
This was pretty shockingly bad as audiobooks go. The narrator was awful. Some really annoying voices to the point where I really disliked one of the main characters and I don’t think you’re supposed to dislike him! Some terrible attempts at various accents. Storyline was super naff. Wasted many hours waiting for it to get good or for there to be a twist but I really should have given up as it’s time I’ll never get back. Avoid avoid avoid. And before you write me off as a negative nancy (as I did with another reviewer), this is the only negative book review I’ve ever given!

What did you like best about The First Last Kiss? What did you like least?
Was really looking forward to listening to this one. Usually takes me, at most, a week to listen to a book but this one has taken me a full month... great storyline but I just didn't get the escapism that usually comes with these kind of books.
