Summary

One incompetent towel dispenser, a brilliant scientist, and the threat of mass extinction.

A Number One Amazon Bestselling Series

The human race faces extinction and the U.S.E. (United States of Earth) Marshals Service’s best must travel back in time to try to stop it. But first, there’s the little matter of inventing time travel.

The pre-eminent scientist who’s been working on the tachyonic anti-telephone—the machine that will allow DNA and connectome data to be transported through time—needs to be escorted. Unfortunately, most top UMS agents are being killed in battle against the rising Capolian Empire, leaving Bob-3831, a lowly agent being punished for gross incompetence, to take on the task. However, going from towel dispenser and general skivvy to saviour of the universe is a bit too much for the increasingly eccentric Bob. But since, during his younger freight hauling days, it was he who’d unknowingly delivered the blueprints for the planet destroying weapon that now underpins the current regime, he must give it a go; or all might soon be lost.

'The First Do-Over' is Book 3 of The Galaxy Marshals space comedy series, and the prequel to the first two books. If you’re a fan of off-beat sci-fi, you’ll love Jay Gaskell’s ongoing galactic adventure.

Author does a Arthur

We join Bob/thingy/Arthur as he completes the time loop of his story ark. In a typically outrageous and at times puerile way. Not that I’m knocking the bottom related humour, I rather enjoy a potty joke. In fact I spat my tea out my nose on more than one occasion. I love this book and think there should be more of them. I’ll stand here clutching my space credits waiting to buy the next one.
