This is not okay
Trigger warning for those who have experience sexual assault. Crime story about rape from the perspective of the victim with a lot of slut shaming thrown in. While writer condemns these actions, she still uses them far too casually to drag out the tension and give a reason to keep the main to characters apart. If you overlook that the best that can be said about the story is that it is average. Standard issue romance plot line with a judgmental small town, a struggling woman, and the rekindling young love.
