I picked this up during a rough patch and wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found were simple tools I could actually use when my thoughts started spiraling. The breakdown of thought patterns and how to challenge them really stuck with me. I’ve started using a few techniques daily, especially when I feel overwhelmed or irritated. It’s helped me pause and respond instead of just reacting. Solid guide if you're trying to get your emotions under control.

I didn’t feel I needed this book at first, but as I started listening more deeply, I realized how much it could help me, especially in controlling my depression. I’ve listened to many books on CBT, and like them, this one is also written in such a powerful way to guide us in healing ourselves. I really appreciate how the author highlights the psychological effects through CBT. What stood out to me the most was the focus on identifying and challenging negative thoughts, which is truly the first and most important step in CBT.

I also want to appreciate the narrator, whose engaging style kept me connected and made the learning experience even more impactful.
