About this listen
How far are you willing to go to secure your friend's good opinion? Little Hans gives freely of all he possesses, in order that the miller will esteem him as a true friend. The miller even promises to give little Hans his wheelbarrow. Hans' gratitude is never-ending, and he learns too late what it sometimes means to be a devoted friend.
Public Domain (P)2010 B.J. Harrisonis Oscar Wilde at what he he did best.
Children and adults will enjoy this tale which moves along nicely with the help of B.J . Harrison the narrator who brings to life the creatures in this sad little tale.
I found this a compelling little story which had the power to bring feelings of annoyance at the arrogance of character Miller and great pity for the devoted friend. This is a story that will make you think and clear away any cobwebs about your relationships with others.
Some people are completely blind and utterly selfish and do not see what goodness is right in front of their very eyes.
