I found this book very boring in places and struggled to finish it. It only came alive in the last few chapters. Pity, it had the makings of a decent book. I won't be buying the next in the series.

Enjoyed the story and sense of place in the Scottish highlands.
I prefer audio books to be read rather than performed. The narrator had a good range of voices but for me they were distracting at times and a little panto.
