Thoroughly enjoyed this book and just like the previous book it has a great plot surrounded by interesting characters. Looking forward to the next instalment. Angus King is as always a great narrator bringing these stories to life.
(I did have a wee frown though regarding part of one of the story arcs - I think I was a wee bit sad it was a predictable part. Perhaps it was meant to be? Anyway, it is a very good book & I highly recommend both books in the series so far).

Excellent

I have only recently come across J M Douglish and have to say I’m a bit smitten. The characters are now really finding their patter and the storyline is great. Slightly worried about the rate of how quickly I listened to the first two books as I don’t want to suddenly have to wait for books to come out. Once again, immaculate narration by Angus King, he is quickly becoming one of my all time favourite listen too.

Second book even better than the first
