This book is fantastic - a fast-paced, fun tale full of twists and turns, filled with brilliant and intriguing characters, beautifully written and expertly told. "The Crown Tower" was my first book by Michal J. Sullivan and I can't wait to read more by him. The narrator is also excellent! Can't recommend this enough!

I've read and listened to a lot of books in my time but this series is the best ever. What an imagination the author has, and I could listen to anything read by Tim Gerard Reynolds. It's a rare occasion I listen to or read a book more than once but before I'd finished listening to these I knew I'd be listening again. I hope he writes more. Brilliant!

If anything the story was too short. Haven't read the Riyria Revelations, but didn't feel like I had to. Thoroughly enjoyed, great characters. Not the most imaginative, mind-blowing plot (essentially two stories: one is a 'there and back again' unlikely buddy story, and the other, arguably more engaging story, is a 'rags to riches' affair). However, the characterisation makes up for it, and keeps you engaged.
