I was totally enthralled by this story I smiled,I cried.this is a book I couldn't put down until the end.

No happy ever after ending. I got to 1/2 way and read other reviews and realised it was not going to end well. So I stopped after the couple got together. In my universe they ended up happy ever after and if I don't listen to the rest of the story then it is true for me. Beautifully read by Abby Craden (as per) and a lovely story - bar the sad ending.

but beautiful story of two unhappy women who share one glorious summer, and find real love. even in the sadness (many tears) you never know when love will find you, make the most of your time together, it can be fleeting.

connection to the characters is strong from the beginning, its draws you in,and although it's clear what's going to happen, your still wanting it to be a different outcome. A heartfelt story, one that I won't forget.
