Story
Christmas is fast approaching at the new Hope Farm and Bev has convinced a reluctant Molly to organise an open day to raise some much needed funds ahead of the New Year. Their nativity tableau has everything they need: anti-social sheep, alpacas munching the Baby Jesus doll and a hairdresser dressed up as Santa Claus. Story
Jodie Jackson is leaving her London life, her career and her husband behind. She'd like a chance to turn back the clocks, but she'll settle for some peace and quiet on her brother Bill's houseboat. But from the moment Jodie steps aboard her new home, it's clear she'll struggle to keep herself to herself. If it isn't Marilyn, who cleans for Bill and is under strict instructions to look after Jodie, then it's Ned, the noisy sculptor on the next-door houseboat. Ned's wood carving is hard on the ears, but it's made up for by the fact that he's rather easy on the eyes.

enjoyable listen
Where does The Chocolate Lovers' Wedding rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
low, on account of it skips before I have finished listening to the chapter!! This happened about six times
Who was your favorite character and why?
Lucy, as she was more normal than some of the others. I'm getting fed up of reading about supposedly ordinary people with loads of money and no financial worries, especially when living in London - most of us here don't live like that!
How did the narrator detract from the book?
She didn't, the editing is the problem, not the narrator.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No, and I wish I had known about the breast cancer storyline as I would have avoided this book on that basis. My sister is being treated for it and I don't need to read about it when I'm hoping to be entertained.
Any additional comments?
Please sort out the editing. I will never know what I've missed!

Enjoyed Story, But problem with missing content
What made the experience of listening to The Chocolate Lovers' Wedding the most enjoyable?
Having listened to Chocolate lovers Christmas it was good to hear how the characters lives continued
What aspect of Lucy Price-Lewis’s performance might you have changed?
I think her performance was excellent
Any additional comments?
Not sure if this is a problem with the recording or just my download but a large number of the chapters were truncated. The next Chapter was announced mid sentence of the previous chapter. A couple of chapters were only a couple of sentences long and the next chapter cut in mid sentence so not sure if this was correct or if I have a chunk of 2 chapters missing. The story did make sense and I didn't feel that I had missed anything
Not had this problem with any other downloads

Poor Quality Recording
Having read the other Chocolate Lover's title I was keen to listen to their next set of adventures. The story in itself was what I was hoping for but there were far too many chapters cut short as the recording jumped onto the start of the next chapter. I deleted the download and then downloaded it again, but the problem persisted and this was really irritating.
Overall, for fans of the previous story this is an enjoyable next episode, however, some of its threads were definitely affected by the poor quality of the download and so the 1 star given for performance is not reflective of the reader, who is enjoyable to listen to.

Shoddy editing ruined an otherwise good book.
Any additional comments?
This was a book I snapped up as soon as it was released but was massively disappointed with most of the chapters being cut short thus missing key moments. Despite this, it was still a great listen.

chapters are not completely
I really enjoyed the two previous chocolate lovers club books which were read brilliantly by Lucy price-Lewis but this book has chapters which are not 'unabridged' . Sometimes it even skips to the next chapter in the middle of a sentence. not impressed with this download. the story was too good to miss a moment!

Honestly...
Story, another smasher. Narrator, easy and pleasant to listen to, very relaxing. The recording / editing was unfortunately not good, the chapters would over lap, so it would just skip to the next chapter half way through a sentence which was disappointing and frustrating. Sorry

A good yarn ruined!
I have always enjoyed the light frothiness of Carole Matthews books and have read the first two Chocolate Lover's books with joy, knowing that I would be entertained by the escapades of the characters. I understand fully that everthing in life is not easy or humorous but the plots have never strayed too far outside the realms of confronting us with the harsh realities of the choices we make and their consequences, as in gambling addiction etc or choosing the wrong partner. However, settling down with this novel I was smacked in the face by the "C" word (and I'm talking medically here). No-one on the planet can be unaware of the terrible reality of this dreadful disease and the impact it can have on our world but to be presented with this in a novel from an author we have learned to trust to ultimately ellevate our moods with her writing is disappointing to say the least. I don't want to stick my head in the sand but we are constantly confronted with the "C" word (medically speaking) in advertisements, on TV and other media without the need to be forced again to agonise over it in fiction!

Great story, terrible audio.
What did you like best about The Chocolate Lovers' Wedding? What did you like least?
Loved the story but the recording was rubbish.
Any additional comments?
Chapters of the books were chopped off and missing, and Audible should be ashamed of their quality assurance team.
