A thriller in the classic style of who did this gruesome crime. Should have been good.What was most disappointing about Carol O'Connell’s story?
The misogyny. The women were all described as a bitch at one point or another and all described as 'the blonde' or 'the socialite', boring and trite. Carol whoever is NOT a woman.What does Barbara Rosenblat bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Rosenblat is a consumate actor and reader. Wonderful, wonderful voice and sublime acting with a dreadful script.If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Chalk Girl?
