©2017 William J. Jackson (P)2018 William J. JacksonTightly written in the first person from David's perspective, the reader is taken on a kalaedoscopic swirl of bizarre characters, visual images of the city and the terbulance within his head. Quite brilliant.
Performed by Kyle Maraglio, the narration matches the speed and colour (blue?) of the text, with Brooklyn accent and cynical descriptions of various protagonists, such as,'slick as grease and loaded with money', or, 'mind as sharp as molten wax',making them his own. His voicings of the other characters is apt and well differentiated, too, imbuing character to each one even if only briefly encountered.
