Summary
Welcome back to Charybdis Station and the crew of the Blue Solace (sixth book in the series)
Draif Ando started life as a slave on Vextonar. When he was 15, he met his best friend, Leti Ando, and life got a lot better. Now, he's a Charybdis Station captain and works closely with the lord admiral of the station. He is a free man, finally has a purpose of his own, and has the the best lieutenant in the galaxy by his side. If he's so content, why does he yearn for more, and why is he suddenly picturing children with his eyes and Lucas' ears and tail?
Lucas Meluth knew that Draif was his life mate from the moment they met. He also knew that Draif was demisexual and wasn't attracted to Lucas. Not at first. Now, Lucas notices the way Draif's eyes follow him and the way Draif's innocent touches are suddenly not so innocent. Has the time come for their friendship to turn into more?

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Great audiobooks series
I doing one one review for all of the books due to I gave book 1 a bad rating and review. Now it seems the author got his or her groove on after book 1 the story started getting better and better and I look forward to hearing book 7 The Rebel Mate when it comes out.
In so many ways the series could be compared to out us today one group determined to destroy another because how they may worship, look, race or who they love we see this in our government, religious leaders and white supremacists but in the books this happens in the future were man has gone into apace and met other beings soon their is no full human and what there is very small but they have decided go to war against the non human because of how they look, their race and most likely who they love they decide to kill billions of people for what they wanted A Pure Full Human Race and either kill everyone else or sell them into salvery.
As I said I was not pleased with book one but the following books were great and the narrator did a great to bring the story alive. So you check it out today.

🎧 Sweet Alien Romance 🎧
The Captain's Mate by C.W. Gray. I really enjoyed this alien romance. The story was well written With a lot of action. I loved the characters and their quirky personalities.
The Narrator Connor Brown Did a fantastic job with these characters and story.
