Summary

“I thought I knew who I was, but I was wrong.”

I was lied to. I was cheated. Resigned to pick up the scraps of empty memories and disarrayed thoughts, I left. After finally cutting the strings of manipulation, I resorted to do what I’ve done since I was a child, something my father drilled into my brain since I could handle my first rifle.

Run.

I’m a mere shadow of the girl they all knew. Lies and deceit change you. They alter your entire outlook on life. I’m Madison Montgomery, and I want to play a game. Here’s what happens when I win.

Riddle me this, Mads. What goes bump in the night, but is something you can’t see with sight? You may run, and you may hide. If by happily ever after, you mean Bonnie & Clyde.

Great storyline annoying heroine!

The h and her constant b***y attitude, questioning in moments she just needs to shut the hell up and do as told, and lack of using her own common sense (due to lack thereof at times).

The storyline is a goodone but Mads nearly ruined it for me.

Love/Hate

Liked the glimpses we get of a relationship of sorts building between Madison and the Kings. One thing that is still driving me crazy is that Madison has basically learned nothing and is still making the same mistakes over and over when it comes to Bishop. I have a strong love/hate relationship with Bishop and Nate though as does Madison so I'm giving the book 4 stars because of that. Also how long does it take to read a book?! She should have been further along with it at least.
