The Black Swan Detective Agency was a most enjoyable read - I mean listen! The author has included social topics on many cultural, political, humanitarian eventualities with much humour, and even a tear it two! I like how these are weaved into the everyday conversations between the characters.

This is a well written, well thought through crime and detective story by Tony Flower who brings his characters to life. The twists in the story did keep me guessing - who done it? His descriptions of people and places gave me the opportunity to paint my own pictures without realising that he’d done some if it for me. The story flowed and I couldn’t wait to finish it. I loved the camaraderie of the Black Swan Detective Agency members, the portrayal of injustice, the way the book Lorna Doone was incorporated into the story, as well as the reference to songs and, of course, the love story. Highly recommend.

I took a punt on this book as there were no Audible reviews . I really enjoyed it . The cast of characters were great as was the story and the narrator.
On the cozy end of the genre but non the less enjoyable I hope there is more in this series.
