horrible narrator. couldn't listen to it....

I couldn't listen to this. not sure if the narrator was trying to make a russian accent buy it was dreadful. So upset about this I ll just have to buy the real book. as the stories are amazing but I don't know who on earth could listen to this woman talk more than a 1 min.

Surprisingly fun

Excellent stories; excellent narration. Sometimes had to strain to hear, but that may be my ears.

Deep Russian stories

The 26 slaves, the drunkard story and the hermits were to me the best ones.

Disappointing Narration

Tolstoy's stories are great, but Dobson's voice is strangely grating. Mediocre at best, sad to say.
