Enjoyed it, would definitely recommend it. I was able to get completely drawn into the world of John and his travels.

I’ve read lots of travel memoirs before by ‘adventurers’ or hikers taking things seriously so this was completely different from the start.

I wondered if it would be typical stories about full moon parties and clubs but it turned out to be so compelling and an almost unbelievable story with lots of twists and turns, countries and situations I never predicted!

What a brilliant book. Left me with so many questions wanting to know what happened next. I hope there is a follow up. Would love to sit down and spend an afternoon talking with John. He must have some amazing stories.
