About this listen

The narrator and central character of The Adolescent is Arkady Dolgoruky, a naive 19-year-old boy full of ambition and opinions. The illegitimate son of a dissipated landowner, he is torn between his desire to expose his father’s wrongdoing and the desire to win his love. He travels to St. Petersburg to confront the father he barely knows, inspired by an inchoate dream of communion and armed with a mysterious document that he believes gives him power over others.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky was a Russian novelist, journalist, and short-story writer who had an immense influence on 20th-century fiction. He is commonly regarded as one of the finest novelists who ever lived, penning classics that include: Crime and Punishment, The Idiot, Demons, and The Brothers Karamazov. His ideas profoundly shaped literary modernism, existentialism, and various schools of psychology, theology, and literary criticism.

This was a perfectly adequate/enjoyable reading of The Adolescent, however I was hoping to read this along with a physical copy I own. As audible seem to find it almost impossible to include the name of the translator on their translated audiobooks I was unable to listen and read together, as this turned out to be a different (older) translation.
This is especially frustrating because Audible limit returns so I could not even try to find an alternative version on the site to use. I think this is unfair as they are not giving customers a full product description.

Frustrating audible experience
