Tes Syrece was sold to the Kingdom’s Army when only five years of age and learned this quickly. The Nectar of Megas, a potent brew that clouds the mind, which all of the nameless citizens are lawfully committed to drink at times of importance. Though he does retrain experiences, he cannot for the life of him remember from what or where.
Captured while trying to break into a local Sect, Tes Syrece bares the brands of battles long forgotten to the current ruling class. But age remembers, as does an Imperial who takes an invested interest in this lost soldier’s tale. Forced to review these memories or be hung for desertion, Tes Syrece faces more than past experiences but the consequences of being a soldier.
