Summary

Tatum Thompson is living the dream. Her life is perfect; with a loving boyfriend and loving parents, and as a soon-to-be college graduate, how can life get better? Life is good until it isn't. When tragedy strikes, Tatum runs to Josh, only to find him in a compromising position with someone else. Turning away from the only life she knew, Tatum is forced to alter her life plan.

Blaise Richards is a tattoo artist who moonlights as a volunteer firefighter. Lies and deception leave his broken heart closed until the beautiful green-eyed girl casts her spell over him. She's making him feel things he's never felt. Making him want things he thought he would never want.

Tatum wants Mr. Just for Tonight.

Blaise wants Tatum to be his forever.

Can Mr. Just for Tonight convince Tatum that she's the one? How long can Tatum resist Blaise's determination to make her his?

On and On and ON

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

MEH.. It was ok..

Would you recommend Tempting Tatum to your friends? Why or why not?

Probably not..

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I think the narrators were decent.. I've listened to Jillian Macey a lot & Nelson Hobbs had a decent southern accent

Could you see Tempting Tatum being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Hell no

Any additional comments?

Tatum is annoying.. Blaze over and over and OVER again expressed his affection for her just about 98% of the book.. cursed out Beth in front of Tatum.. Tatum has seen is character through and through and all it took was 1 encounter with his bitter ex for her to go nuts.. I know the author needed some drama but really.. that was just stupid.. Having listened to Blaze beg and beg for the entire book then to have that happen just pissed me off.

I love it when the heroine of the story has some damn backbone

Hmmm 😏

Not sure , it is a sweet story due to way its read, a little immature when it shouldn’t be. Jillian is good but her male voice is bad bad bad . Don’t get me wrong, I love Kaylee Ryan’s books , this one just didn’t knock it out for me. Very mellow as still no hot stuff and I’m on 23 chapter.

Cute

First off Blaise stole the show and honestly I just wanted the slap Tatum 90% of the book. Nelson Hobbs was pretty good only negative was that the recording was very breathy. Jillian on the other hand should probably not be a narrator. She is very nasally and it kinda distracted from the story. This book was low angst which is an ice change from some of the ones I read. I just wish Tatum wasn’t such a pain in the butt character. Glad it’s on romance package.

So many forehead kisses!

I stop listening about halfway through because it was so boring! It went downhill after chapter 1 and honestly after the 8000 forehead kiss I had to turn it off. It went on and on and on for no reasonu

TEMPTING TATUM

OVERALL THIS STORY IS ABOUT A GIRL (TATUM) WHO'S MOTHER AND FATHER ARE KILLED IN A DEADLY AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT. AFTER SHE HAS BEEN TOLD OF THE ACCIDENT SHE RUSHES OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TO GO FIND AND BE WITH HER BOYFRIEND SEEKING SOME COMFORT TATUM ENDS UP CATCHING (JOSH) IN THE MIDST OF SCREWING SOME GIRL IN THE LIVING ROOM OF HIS APARTMENT. TATUM'S BEST FRIEND (LALIA) SHE'S KNOWN SINCE KINDERGARDEN BECOMES HER BIGGEST SUPPORTER. LILIA CONVINCES TATUM TO MOVE WITH HER AND BRENT HER FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND TO TENN. WHERE BRENT HAS BEEN OFFERED A JOB. TATUM CAN HARDLY BARE LIVING IN HER FAMILY HOME WITH ALL THE MEMORIES PLUS HER EX-BOYFRIEND DOESN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND TATUM'S WE ARE THROUGH STATEMENT SO SHE JUMPS HEAD LONG INTO THE MOVE. THE NARRATING ISN'T THE GREATEST I'VE LISTEN TO. THE MALE NARRATOR IS PRETTY GOOD BUT THE FEMALE AT TIMES SOUNDS LIKE A MALE IMATATING A FEMALES VOICE (WHICH IS SOMETHING I REALLY DON'T LIKE WHEN LISTENING TO AUDIOBOOKS). TATUM HAS HAD A LOT OF AWLFUL THINGS HAPPENED IN PAST FEW MONTHS WHICH MAKES HER PRETTY CLOSED OFF ON STARTING ANY NEW RELATIONSHIPS BUT WHEN SHE MEETS BLAZE HE IS RELENTLESS WANTING TO GET CLOSE TO HER. THERE IS STILL SOMETHING THAT DRAWS HER TO HIM. SHE ALSO DOESN'T SEEM TO WANT TO FIGHT THIS ATTRACTION AND LITTLE BY LITTLE BLAZE SEEMS TO BREAK DOWN ALL THOSE WALLS TATUM HAS TRIED TO PUT UP.

Too saccharine sweet🤢

The story started out to be engaging, but unfortunately took a turn for the worse after chapter 1. I love a sappy romance, but the male lead, Blaize, was a complete weenie! Maybe it was the narrator’s hokey southern accent, but everything that came out of his mouth made me roll my eyes. I was making fun of him out loud he was so cheesy. I mean he’s a tattoo artist/fireman and he narrator sounded like Opie Taylor...total turn-off. DNF about 3/4s of the way through.

Sweet book.

I’m a sucker for a slow burn love story. Tempting Tatum has everything I need for a relaxing day of reading. Tatum moves with her best friend and her best friend’s fiancée to Tennessee for a fresh start after a tragic loss. She meets Blaise, a muscled tattooed volunteer firefighter who owns his tattoo business with his twin brother. Blaise is my perfect book boyfriend, a hero, a gentleman with an amazing family. Tempting Tatum is my second favorite book by this author.

I’m in love

This author is on my top five list. I mean I almost cried twice. She reminds me that relationship are not easy. That there will be people who want to break up and mess up things in your relationship. You have to trust in yourself and the person you are with to have the life you want. Read it!

Loves it

This is a great listen. The characters were relatable. I caught many feelings as I was listening. Couldn’t stop listening till the end. Left me wanting more. The narrators did a fantastic job.
