Thank you. I am beholden. Will re-listen a couple more times. It's been such a joy to have Chlöe Pierre's voice accompany me on my drive to and from work. So much in this book resonates yet I will need time to digest what has been shared; the quotes, stats, references, history, real-life experiences, recommendations, encouragement...

All in all I have deeply appreciated every single word, syllable, pause and explanation - food for my Carib-African-British-European soul. At a crucial time in my life. Thank you again.

I thoroughly enjoyed how this book started off by sharing the ways wellness touch our lives, and more specifically the lives of Black women. What kept me reading is how Chloe highlighted what wellness is associated with rather than focusing on its umbrella definition. Only on chapter one but I can tell this will be a non-overwhelming, exciting but also relaxing read. Get it if you can !!

Eye-opening

This book is a must read for everyone, not just black women. It gives a thorough explanation of black women’s lives in a holistic way. Intellectually and sensitively written. Very insightful.

Phenomenal Book

I wish I had a positive, truth mentor that I could have opened up too regarding some of the topic mentioned such as ‘boundaries’ in 2007.

Such an enlightening book that I believe will inspire people to look deeper into themselves and only except and allow goodness to enter their happy circle.

‘Take Care’ is a good read which I will cherish, return to listening as a reminder that I am worthy of greatness regardless what anyone else thinks of me.
