Personal Brand GOLD!!

In a lot of ways, the content of this book is blindingly obvious. But, if it was that obvious we’d all have armies of Fans. Pat breaks this down into great tutorials and teachings. In fact l, if you only actioned a quarter of the book, you’d be 10x better off. I love Pat. I love all of his stuff. He’s truly up there as one of the best Business Role Models of the modern era. I just wish I was growing up in this era, instead of being a 40+. But...it’s never too late. 👏👏👏 Pat. Genius my friend.

This is an absolute hum dinger of a guide to build a community based business. Pat has once again gone above and beyond for his Superfans.
Actionable guide to build a great business that doesn’t need paid advertising.

A bit podcasty

There are undoubtedly some good ideas in this book and if you are planning to launch a product or service which will depend upon organic growth then this book will force you to think ahead and prepare yourself for connecting with your audience. One of the most significant ideas I have taken on board is that of making the most of every small communication which a new contact makes, such as a YouTube comment. I would give this book a higher rating, but I have listened to too many high quality books which have been polished by the authors with every sentence carefully refined. This book has too many 'sidebars' - thoughts which came to the author while making the audio recording. I don't really care which football team the sound engineer supports, I'll listen to a podcast if I want chatty content.

So Fortunate I Found This!

This is the first time I’ve come across Pat Flynn and I have a feeling he’s now going to be one of my go-to guides. (Omg I just realised I’m becoming a Superfan! 😂)
I honestly spent a long time looking for what I needed after I was a little disappointed with a previous purchase and I couldn’t have imagined that I’d find this absolute goldmine!
I really do feel extremely fortunate, hence me taking the time to write this review.
For those of us looking for those jackpots of comprehensive guidance - you know - the ones that are “the real deal” - then this is me with my hand up shouting “Hey! Over here guys!”
Seriously, you will not be disappointed!

Big Meh

I'll keep this quick: the authors voice is like nails on the chalkboard by the end of the book, the info is fairly generic, but the worst is when he reads aloud Instagram comments.

Not a bad book, but I won't recommend it.

Great tools to build relationships

I enjoyed Pat funds Superfans book. I was able to use a lot of the skills from day one. As a person who likes to connect with others, Pat offers a lot of good advice for helping build those relationships for my brand.

I don’t have to be a rockstar to have super fans!

Pat, thank you so much for your knowledge, insights and generosity in helping entrepreneurs achieve success and freedom. Your podcast, content and books have been so helpful in creating my own brand and serving my community. I will definitely dive into the companion course and implement your strategies. To be fair I'm a physical product person

I would have liked a little more about how better to engage that set but Pat does a great job with emphasis in his speciality of service products. Super info for anyone though. Will use many tips and exercises given. Thabks again Pat for helping us keep going.

SUPERFANS (and Pat) are the REAL DEAL

I’ve been following Pat now for over 5 years. I’ve consumed all his books, podcasts, and most of his courses. I’d guess I’d say I’m a SUPERFAN. This book is a masterclass in how to build a business ... and following ... the right way. What I love most about this book is that it’s strategic. He even includes a course to hold your hand ... step by step. Typical Pat. This dude cares and it shows in his writing, podcast, and courses. Get this book and start winning over your own SUPERFANS. I know I’m going to.

2-for-2 from Pat Flynn

I just finished this book, Superfans, which I decided to purchase after reading (and listening to the audiobook) his previous book, “Will It Fly.” As Pat Flynn narrates all his books, the content is read in a very engaging manner because he truly believes in what he does and what he encourages/teaches others to do. If you’re too lazy to read the below - buy the audiobook and give it a shot. You’ll definitely learn something new or stimulate new ideas for your business.

Most modern business books offer anecdotal stories or facts but fail to include any actionable steps. When you’re an entrepreneur who’s life is moved by actionable steps, this becomes frustrating and feels like a waste of time. However, that is not the case with this book. Pat introduces each chapter with a story as a way to peak your interest and you begin to understand what direction he is taking you. This is then followed up by actionable steps or ideas you can implement in your business. Then, again, he gives you a (relevant) story to further cement the chapters overall idea. Finally each chapter is wrapped up with an exercise that encourages you to take action on the chapters idea. By the end of the chapter I was thinking of new ideas I can use and ended up with a document full of potential activations and marketing ideas.

It just so happens that after I finished “Will It Fly” I co-founded a CPG company and used his testing strategies from that book to validate our idea. I recommend consuming that book first for a foundation. Now that we are creating content and looking host live events or partnerships - “Superfans” has been a huge help in my ideation process as the marketing co-founder.

I’m relocating to San Diego soon and just discovered that’s where Pat Flynn is located (I’m sure you’ve mentioned it before but I just missed it). I’m looking forward to future events I can attend as well as future content...I’m definitely becoming a superfan after all the fantastic advice.
