Story
After a five-year research project, Jim Collins concludes that good to great can and does happen. In this audiobook, he uncovers the underlying variables that enable any type of organisation to make the leap from good to great while other organisations remain only good. Rigorously supported by evidence, his findings are surprising - at times even shocking - to the modern mind. Good to Great achieves a rare distinction: a management book full of vital ideas that reads as well as a fast-paced novel.

Even among the successful, why are so few able to repeat their successes over and over? People like Martin Luther King, Jr.; Steve Jobs; and the Wright Brothers might have little in common, but they all started with why. Their natural ability to start with why enabled them to inspire those around them and to achieve remarkable things.

I want my money back...
Without the stories, the whole book seems dry and boring. It’s hard to internalize points without a story... On top of that the narrator was especially dry and difficult to listen to. No voice inflections no passion, no pauses... everything you expect in a good narrator... I cannot recommend this summary-book because I truly believe it lacks what’s needed for the listener.

Great synopsis
The summary Is concise, compelling, and creates an appetite to listen to the entire book. The only reason for taking away a star on performance was the lack of pauses between key thoughts. Over all, it was very very well worth the 1-Audible credit! Thank you!
