This book is a mix of so much; it's layered with a range of emotions and reflections. I enjoyed that the characters were written with confidence so that they are clearly who they are, but you still get to learn more about them as you go on. It was a wonderful listen.

This is a personal fave of mine from CCJ. The characters are so well rounded and I loved their personalities. they made me laugh so much, especially the male MC.
As always, CCJ delivers a beautiful, and captivating romance story. Both Narrators were perfect for the main characters. WS delivers each and every time

Be aware it deals with grief amongst other heavy themes, so check triggers. Besides that it's a beautiful story about new beginnings, getting over traumas and redefining moments. Dr. C goes to a small town to try to find peace and come to terms with events past, and feel something, anything. She meets a grumpy and ahole that saves her and is not friendly in the slightest, but the 2 of them have instant and animalistic attractions. So, she goes for it and we get some intense smex
