E Guilly, un personaggio fuori dal tempo che Davide, per caso o per destino, incontra in Vietnam e da cui apprende un modo alternativo e pieno di luce di prendere la vita.
Una storia di rinascita in cui perdersi per ritrovarsi, che Gianluca Gotto racconta portando il tema della ricerca della felicità - già affrontato nell'autobiografia Le coordinate della felicità - su un piano universale: la destinazione finale di questo viaggio non è conquistare un certo tipo di vita, ma uno stato d'animo. Una sensazione di calore che è sempre dentro di noi, indipendentemente da quello che il destino ci ha riservato. Potremmo chiamarla in tanti modi: serenità, pace interiore, leggerezza, calma. Oppure, come direbbe Guilly, "la sensazione di essere a casa, sempre".
