The changing perspective between Gabe and Hadley works well, as without it I think I'd have disliked Gabe. Even with that, I think Hadley should have kneed him in the balls at least once. She spends most of the book saying one thing and doing another and her weakness is frustrating, as is his disregard for her perfectly legitimate concerns. However, the sex scenes are steamy and their relationship can be surprisingly sweet at times. The heat is enhanced by TH's fantastic voice: I'd listen to him read the phone book!
