Summary

Pip er en forældreløs dreng, der vokser op på landet under beskedne kår hos sin diktatoriske ældre søster og dennes godmodige mand Joe. Joe og Pip har et nært forhold, og det er meningen, at Pip skal følge i Joes fodspor som grovsmed.
