Grayson Daniels has a brilliant mind but is not so brilliant when it comes to relationships. After being asked to assist the Navy with nuclear research, he finds himself aboard an aircraft carrier where he accidentally intercepts a letter not meant for him. Cassidy's words enthrall him...but what started as an innocent fascination soon becomes an uncontrollable desire.

When Grayson learns of Cassidy's financial problems, he manipulates matters into his own hands. And when Cassidy's relationship with her fiance begins to crumble, Grayson is there to pick up the pieces, reminding her that love doesn't always have to be a sacrifice.

Haven’t listened to a similar storyline and really loved it. A new author I tried out, 2 of my favourite narrators would have swung it for me but the story stands on it’s own merit.

I actually really loved this story lol the characters were great. It was so nice to have a lead character that was actually socially awkward. We all have issues in life it was lovely that a guy who had challenges found a way to fall in love. I also learnt about quarts <3

very strange book! not sĺure why anyone would write such a silly story. hopefully this author writes more interesting stories

Even a great narrator can't rescue a story with a lacklustre story and insipid lead characters. I have to care and feel invested in what happens to the characters, but when they are essentially spineless and have few redeeming emotions or character traits, its difficult.
Usually happy to give goid ratings, I just can't with this. Despite Mr Yorks excellent performance (as ever), this one was a waste of a credit.
