It is very interesting
Presents stoicism for what it is: a way of thinking; a way to live your life; an ideal to try for. Stoicism is not for everyone and you can apply as much of it, if at all, to your life as you think appropriate. Having said that, I believe everyone can benefit from most stoic principles and I would recommend this book to any and everyone.

great
I'm unsure how I got this far in my life without knowing about Stoic Philosophy by name, this book has been a game changer on behalf of me and, because of me, dozens of friends and relations too. I even have been committed to listening and journaling the daily passages a day for 10 months now and it's truly opened my eyes - and my mind - to such a lot that I even have been missing.

A good introduction to Stoicism. The first few chapters go in-depth with what stoicism is and the history before giving you a guide. There are great chapters devoted to emotional resilience.

It is very interesting
This book is great at teaching you the history of Stoicism and its major tenets. If this were the only book you ever read on the subject you would have more than enough understanding and tools to strive to live the life of a Stoic.

Soothing voice
Many of the quotations I have listen elsewhere, but in this book they are arranged topically in a way I found very helpful. I am interested in learning how to live my life more engaged and less defensively. This book has been a big help!

I highly recommend this audiobook
Got this as a present and he absolutely loved the book. Showed up quickly, great condition. The book was an excellent start, nothing too far over my head- tons of those books can get to be the sort you've got to read over a few times before moving on. This was that but also , deep and influential still.
