Start was a bit drawn out but soon picked up good story and good end

a very good listen.. only 19h in but it's got me hooked and it's every enjoyable 😉

The story idea is a good one, but just doesn't flow in a way that makes you want more. A lot of time spent on trivia like a top dark ops agent and a top scientist out walking and finding a spaceship, sleeping with a top scientist to get him to join the team, really? And acceptance of life changing technology like it was always there. I wanted it to work having got the 3 book series but just couldn't keep listening.

This is my second time listening to all four books, and it saddens me to finish for a second time. I've listened to over 300 sci-fi audio books, and Bob's Stellar Heritage series is the only one I've ever came back to listen to again. It's quite simply fanstically written, I'd hopped for a sequel but was very sad to see that Bob is no longer with us. At least we get to remember you with this great piece of science fiction. RIP Bob

Books 1-3 were great. book 4 was more like the author couldn't be bothered and wanted to end the series really quickly
