Summary

Welcome to Keating Hollow, the enchanted town where love heals, friends are forever, and family means everything.

Yvette Townsend’s life was perfect...right up until her husband fell in love with someone else. Newly divorced and still reeling from her broken dreams, Yvette’s sworn off men. Now she’s determined to lose herself in her magic and her beloved bookstore. There’s only one problem - she has an unexpected new business partner who’s driving her crazy both at work and after hours.

Jacob Burton has always been an excellent businessman, but his track record with relationships is nothing short of tragic. After finding his fiancée in the arms of his best friend, he moves to Keating Hollow and invests the quaint bookstore to keep it from going under. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more clear that Yvette and the town just might be saving him. And if he’s lucky, he’ll find out what it means to love the spirit of the witch.

Spirit of the Witch

The witch in question is none other than Yvette. We were introduced to Yvette in the previous stories and are aware she is going through a divorce. Losing her husband has taken a toll. At her sister's wedding, Yvette finds herself with a one night stand.

Yvette loves to escape to her beloved bookstore, that is until she finds herself with a new business partner. This isn't some stuffy old person either, it's her one night stand. Jacob is a rather successful business man. Too bad the same can't be said about his relationships. Yvette can't seem to catch a break, especially when her business partner has some drastic changes in mind for her quaint little bookstore. Will a one night stand have negative consequences or will Yvette and Jacob balance one another out?

I voluntarily reviewed Spirit of the Witch as an advanced copy from the author.

Oh this was fantastic

Yuevtte Townsend had a perfect life at least she thought she had until her husband run off with another man. Then divorced her because she had to buy his part of the business out she had to get another business partner to keep her book store open. She had hoped he would be a silent partner one but nope.

Jacob Burton is great at business but his fiancee ended up in the arms of his best friend. Now he is the new partner of Yvette and sparks are flying. Lol
I LOVED it. Wonderful characters. Great twist and turns to the all the way to the end. It has magic, mystery, betrayal, action, and so much more. I loved the way the story was told and couldn't turn it off. Don't miss it. Voluntarily reviewed and I honestly loved it

Charming, witty, and funny!

Spirit of the Witch is charming, witty, and heartwarming. The narration is excellent with distinct character voices that are consistent through all the books. The Witches of Keating Hollow will draw you in and keep you coming back. It is hard to find an excellent narrator, but Gabra Zackman is spot on at delivering these charming books.

Another winner in this series.

Wedding hookups. Workplace romance. Never a good start, right? You might just change your mind after listening to this one.

Ms. Chase's world of a small town of witches--not your evil kind--these are small town people who support each other, live pretty normal lives with just a little magic to liven things up. I love each of the sisters who are very different but each with a personality you have to love. They tease, support, and love their father and each other.

Yvette's husband (almost ex) has left her for someone else. She is devastated to lose her best friend and husband. In order to keep her beloved bookstore open she has to accept a business partner to buy out her ex. They have handled all the details long distance. The first time she meets him isn't actually their first meeting. They spent the night together after his sister's wedding. Circumstances with name mixups prevented them from realizing the connection.

A rocky start changes when they begin communicating. Can they keep their feelings separate from their business? Drawing a line doesn't always keep you from crossing over. I was thrilled with their relationship changes, sad when trouble seemed to keep them apart, and cheered them on when things began to change.

The family dynamic was a joy as well. Looks like another sister down. Can't wait for number four.

This was just a pleasure from start to finish. The narrator was really good, not over the top but enough to distinguish the different characters. The storyline was wonderful. You'll enjoy this one, not too long, but enough depth to love the characters.

What life without dash of drama and love!

Yvette bookstore has a new partner, and to her shock it's her one night stand. eep! After divorce she needed a new business partner to help with the store financing, but she never thought that she would see Jacob again after the one night. Sparks fly, try as they might they cant seem to keep it all on the level, what love story without few complications that pop up. The entire Townsend family and the Keating Hollow have their moments , and I love that she put a dash of this or that into each book to build up our learning about the family and the town with each book.
