Summary

Gia Malone wants one thing and one thing only: to be the best surfer in the world. Her biggest obstacle is the annoyingly perky Elle Britton. Not only is Elle number one in the rankings, she's also a fan favorite. But there's a lot about Elle that Gia never noticed, like her surprising sense of humor and picture-perfect mouth.

Elle Britton is tired. After tournaments, fan meetups, and nonstop media requests, all she wants in the world is a little peace and quiet. But with Gia Malone closing in on her ranking, she has to surf her best. When the media picks up the story of their neck-and-neck status, Elle finds herself forced further into the spotlight, this time alongside Gia, the knockout with the killer shred and sexy smile.

It's not long before there's no denying the chemistry on and off the beach. But only one can win....

A Seven Shores romance

Not My Favorite

The story was just ok, predictable and boring. The narration seemed to make the characters mechanical and all the same. I love MB, but this one was not my favorite.

Great narrator elevates a great story

Narration can ruin the experience of a book or make it great. A great story teller as Melissa Brandon deserve a great narrator and for this book she got one. Mellisa Sternberg does a superb work in reading this book. Listening was effortless. The moving from character to another felt so natural. There was no point during the listening that I needed figure out who is talking.

Wanting more

I loved this book probably because I love be surfing, but I like the characters. It’s not a 5 star because I would like more character development on Gia and Elle. Why do lesbian novel have so much sex scenes. It’s like cursing unnecessary. I think you could do a whole series more on n just these 2. Though I am curious why when Gia brought up hunter, Melissa did write in that Malory brought hunter with her and they reconnected there friendship
