I really enjoyed this South of Denver story. A mix of Western with a dash of romance. Sam Brown is a Kick*ss ex-sheriff forced out of his town. With his veritable armoury of weapons including a modified shotgun he was not a man to be messed with. When his family disappear he goes looking for them.... Mike White's narration is brilliant and really brings the story to life. Highly recommended. Looking forward to listening to more CJ Petit in the non too distant future.

Great story, engaging characters and plenty of bad guys. Highly recommend. Very different western story and was extremely enjoyable.

Who would have 'thunk' a tough guy like me could so enjoy a gritty western which really is a touching love story and a lesson in staying the course, being true to one's beliefs and honour. dont forget the great òld west history stuff? Give it a try is my suggestion. You won't be disappointed I believe.
