Summary

Three brothers. Power beyond reckoning. And a terrible betrayal.

Adrian De Vere is the most powerful and charismatic politician on the planet. To many he heralds a future filled with peace and prosperity.

Jason De Vere controls a third of the world’s media through his communications empire VOX. Brilliant and tenacious, little happens in the world without him knowing.

Nick, international playboy (and archaeologist), is dying, a victim of his own recklessness. He has made a remarkable discovery he hopes may save him, but does not know how or what the cost will be.

Despite their wealth and fame, the brothers’ family history is shadowed in lies. Now, with powerful forces both sacred and diabolical at play, one will betray the others - in an almost unimaginable way...

A really good listen!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narration was great quality, and the storyline was good too.

I haven’t read books 1 or 2, but this worked well as a stand-alone for me, as I could easily fill in the blanks and follow what was going on.

The ending had me checking the chapters desperately for more! I am hooked, and now looking forward to reading the next instalment of this saga:)

My compliments to the author.

It really lays the foundation but important to read Book 1 & 2 frost

Excellently thought through series! The Chronicles of Brothers really starts it’s ‘end times’ story with the Son of predition, Book 3.
Book 1 & 2!(which I must suggest are a must read but definitely in context of reading them before this to understand the ‘other worldly’ characters and their personality (you can not help but fall in love with Jether).
This book is always going to be the most difficult as it’s change of pace, environment &!the additions characters but really does carry you towards an eager anticipation towards the next books this is a story of sinister dark forces and how their control could superseded the order & freedom we think we have. On the other side we are introduced to characters that you know are going to be pivotal to the story so it lays a foundation for this and we see moments of heart hearted and stubborn hearted pride & forgiveness and grace that brought tears to my eyes.
Having read 5 of the 8 books (currently waiting for the last 2 to be published) this is a little slow but I understand why it has to take its time to lay it foundation.

Surprisingly different

I've really enjoyed this series, I haven't finished yet. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants something new. It's got suspense, well-known conspiracy theories with a biblical twist. It follows the stories of the bible in a modern way, and you don't have to brush up on your religious books to follow it. Certain streaming platforms could do with reading this. It's a slow starter and picks up pace gradually. If you're having doubts, stick with it, and you may be pleasantly surprised. For me, it's a story to be enjoyed, despite what you believe.

And the winner of worst book ever is.....

This was advertised as competition for Dan Brown but in fact was one of the most pointless and poor books I have come across. Ok I have not read books one and two but I don’t think it would have mattered and I’m certainly not going to read them now. I was expecting so much more from the PR.
