Over fifty million people died worldwide during the 1918-19 influenza pandemic. Two survivors, a young man and an innocent girl from different worlds, are brought together by fate to start the healing process. The discovery of a small corner of Eden isolated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains offers them sanctuary from a troubled world. Over the years, they have been blessed with three wonderful children raised in the wilderness, unspoiled by contact with outside influences until the fate that brought them together comes calling again. Evil in human form stalks the family, and nature tests the limits of their strength and spirit.
