Summary
Un incarico nientemeno che in Svizzera, impegna Sherlock Holmes e il suo assistente Watson, nell'indagine sulla scomparsa di una donna bellissima e abbastanza ricca, da fare gola a qualche malintenzionato. Lady Frances Carfax è sparita, qualche traccia, seppur esile comunque c'è, e riporta i due investigatori a Londra, certi che la donna sia tornata in patria. Personaggi davvero equivoci, e un vecchio fidanzato gigantesco e con una lunga barba, metteranno a dura prova l'intuito di Holmes, che si scervellerà per giorni, per decifrare l'enigma della scomparsa della nobildonna.
Una corsa pazza in carrozza attraverso la città per salvarla da una morte certa, porterà i due investigatori a scoprire una realtà agghiacciante. Indagini approfondite, azione, orrore, e la proverbiale ironia del grande Sherlock Holmes, animano questo audiolibro davvero avvincente. Recitazione e sound design cinematografici, rendono l'ascolto particolarmente piacevole...
