This is a well written account of a single mother’s struggles in a neighbourhood where her nearest neighbour is a suspect in a child abduction.

It’s quite slow and repetitive but a pleasant enough way to while away the hours whilst I cleaned the house.

No earth shattering denouement but wraps up fairly satisfyingly. Wouldn’t wanted to have used a credit but listened on audible plus

A twist on the usual neurotic woman (I seem to be reading a lot of those recently!). Excellent narration.

Narrator great apart from when she says 'miniature'
Story was a bit repetitive in parts going on about her neurosis as far as her kids are concerned, which is why I've only gone with 4 stars. I wanted to shout, 'yes, yes, we get it, you're scared for their safety' more than once.
overall though I wanted to keep listening.
