""A brilliant debut, full of everything I love: a sparkling and fully realized heroine, an intricate and deadly system of magic, and a searing romance that kept me reading long into the night. Serpent & Dove is an absolute gem of a book."" —Sarah J. Maas, #1 New York Times bestselling author of A Court of Thorns and Roses series

Bound as one, to love, honor, or burn. Book one of a stunning fantasy duology, this tale of witchcraft and forbidden love is perfect for fans of Kendare Blake and Sara Holland.

Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.

As a huntsman of the Church, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. But when Lou pulls a wicked stunt, the two are forced into an impossible situation—marriage.

Lou, unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, must make a choice. And love makes fools of us all.

Don't miss Gods & Monsters, the spellbinding conclusion of this epic trilogy, coming July 2021!

I was really looking forward to this audiobook and I was throughly enjoying myself until the male narrator chapters. His voice was annoying but he read incredibly fast and didn’t annunciate properly. There was no real characterisation from him which I don’t need in all my audiobooks but it was made more pronounced by just how GOOD Saskia Maarleverd (the female narrator) was!

It’s a real shame because the book is enjoyable but I would recommend just buying a kindle or physical copy of the book instead.

Holter Graham voice acting is YIKES terrible.

I really enjoyed this book. I have listened to many books narrated by this female narrator and I could happily listen to her for hours, although it was a shame about the male narrator in this one. The voices he adopted for some of the characters were really annoying and I found myself hoping most of the chapters would be seen from Lou's perspective. Regardless I am glad I purchased this one and I will be eagerly anticipating part two!

I really enjoyed this!

I decided to listen to the book shortly after reading the hard copy as i adores the story so much. The voices chosen were absolutely perfect for the characters. Thisnis everything i wanted from this story and so much more.

This book got me out of a reading slump, I both read the traditional book and listened to this audio book, and it was amazing. The voice actors fit the characters so well too! I loved it!
