As a recount of this woman’s experiences interviewing a handful of American serial killers this book should’ve been written in an impartial manner. Unfortunately it wasn’t.

Throughout the book she insulted various people on their looks to which she referred although having never met them; ridiculed some of the killers she interviewed because of their idiosyncracies; narrated various events, such as some of her prison visits, where it became apparent it was all about her rather than the prisoners she was meant to be interviewing and finally tried to instruct a judge in his court that he was being ridiculous when running through judicial procedures. All of this spoiled for me what could have been a great subject. I guess it says more about the author than the prisoners as well as her amateurish writing skills. Not a nice person in fact, undoubtedly shallow and self-absorbed.

The narrator ruined this for me. Mispronounced words and pauses in very weird parts of a sentence.
The author should be very disappointed.
