Summary

Best-selling author Isabel Losada brings her unique blend of humor, curiosity, and honesty to the still-taboo subject of sexuality. This is a brave, funny, and often vulnerable quest to find out how we can make our sex life blissful.

On behalf of all women, slightly terrified, she begins with a woman's workshop where she has to get naked. From here, Isabel journeys through the first international conference of clitoral stroking, is informed of 11 different forms of orgasm - 10 of which she hasn't had - endures NHS Kegal exercises and mystical sensations with tantric masters.

Irreverent yet open-minded, Sensation is both moving and challenging. For anyone who has ever been tempted to dip their toes in the deep waters of sexual exploration, Isabel Losada plunges you straight in.

Brilliant - a must listen for women and men

Reassuring, compassionate, funny
articulate, refreshing and informative. Isabel Losada has a brilliant way of writing that makes these often scary and daunting practices more accessible through her own exploration and honest review.

Losada convincing as Losada

The author gives a convincing performance as herself in this reading; its got some intense sections as a listen and is full of great moments. Funny in places too. I do wish someone had got Isabel a dialect coach and taught her how to pull of an American accent and in places the reading could have been more intimate but overall a 'listen' with a difference and would certainly liven up a long drive. :-) Hope you enjoy it - x isabel

Funny and Brave

An amazingly honest, insightful and entertaining read. Very brave of Isabel Losada to share such a personal account. Learned more than I imagined was possible to learn.

Eyes. Opened.

I really enjoyed listening to this. After hearing Isobel on Russel Brandts podcast I knew I needed to see what the book was all about.
This book has opened my Eyes, and filled me with excitement, anticipation and a passion for exploring my own sexuality.
The honest and frank accounts of all of the workshops and experiences are refreshing and funny. I just wanted to keep listening.
Will certainly be listening again, And encouraging others irrespective of gender to do the same!

Isabel braves things we don't even know about.

Wasn't what I expected and most of the facts weren't of my experience. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones Isabel talks about, well, the smug ones. And I'm through the menopause what are people doing?!

However, I enjoyed learning some stuff with Isobel and cringed with her at the awkward moments. The first book in a long time that I have read (listened to) so quickly. A very interesting read and once we got over the clit amazements I found it even more interesting. :)

And I love when the authors read their own books, it just makes it for me.

Great Book - Fantastic Narration

I have been a big fan of best selling English author, Isabel Losada, for a number of years. She is a great writer who tackles some of the most interesting topics facing society today. On top of that - she is hysterically funny. A couple of months ago, I listened to Ms. Losada narrate her book, "The Battersea Park Road to Enlightenment." I was moved by some parts of the book, and almost fell off my chair laughing at others. Few authors can pull off this feat. Her new book, "Sensation," following in this path of excellence. Don't miss this one.
