Summary
Hier heißt es nicht: "Apollo an Houston, bitte kommen!", sondern "Erde an Mond, Erde an Mond, sind Sie zuhause?"! Und da es im 18. Jahrhundert noch keine Funkverbindung gibt, nimmt die Erde Kontakt mit dem Mond per Brief, per Sendschreiben auf, was dann so klingt: "Es wird Euch hoffentlich nicht befremden, daß Wir diesesmal Unserer Gewohnheit, in Unserer angestammten, lieben Muttersprache, nämlich dem Hebräischen, zu konferieren, entsagen, und deutsch schreiben."
Die Erde hat allen Anlaß, sich bei ihrem Trabanten, dem Mond, zu beschweren: zu viel bringt er in Unordnung und wird nun von den Romantikern und anderen Mondsüchtigen auch noch verehrt und besungen. Lichtenberg formuliert die Klage der Sonne gegen den "Trotzkopf" witzig und scharf.
