Horray ! Detective Marcella in audible
Would you listen to The Witch's Ladder again? Why?
I have read the Detective Marcella series and thoroughly enjoyed it.. I was really happy to see that they are now audible! Why? Well if you like detective murder mysterys, supernatural and magical books, well this book has it all . With twist and turns to keep you guessing but not too many that you have to go back to listen again to stop confusion.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I have no favourite character as such. I think they bounce of each other and develope as the story goes on. Carlos does make me laugh the most tho
Have you listened to any of Eric A. Shelman’s other performances? How does this one compare?
I have never listened to Eric A. Sherman's before. Having read the series before it took a good few mins to tune in as I had imagined a different type of voice.. now I think it's just about right, I wouldn't recommend sitting or totally relaxing to listen too, as his voice is soothing and rather gentle roughness . I found myself waking up with a start, cross with myself that I missed a bit and have to find where I last remembered. Lol

Awful.
Didn't like this book at all. The spoken word is very fast and I had difficulty in hearing every word. Only listened to two or three chapters, found it monotonous and rather boring. Couldn't recommend this book.
