About this listen
In a world where vengeance ignites war, can their love survive the inferno?
Dante was born a Devil, and always assumed he'd die a Devil. His brothers are his life, and his loyalty has no bounds. So when he's betrayed and sold out by another member, his disappearance sends shock waves through the ranks. Rachel is determined to find him, but when old faces come back to haunt her, she realises she's in deeper than ever, and the past is never truly forgotten. With a war looming, and her loved ones in more danger than ever, Rachel faces some of the most difficult decisions of her life.
Meanwhile Dante grapples with conflicting loyalties—his brothers, and the woman who holds his soul. Can he emerge from the darkness, torn between duty or desire?
As the stakes are raised and disaster strikes, each must learn about love and loyalty, of bonds that bend but do not break, and of the sacrifices we make to protect the ones we hold dear.
Strap in for a ride where danger collides with desire, and salvation lies in the most unexpected places. Because in the crucible of danger, they’ll discover whether love is their salvation or their downfall.

Rachel and Dante’s relationship is one where emotions are front and centre, the banter, quick remarks, stubbornness from both sides and the fact they can’t keep their hands to themselves is just a recipe for disaster but in the best kind of way.
Dante from the very beginning has said he is not a good man and Rachel’s tongue is going to cause her more trouble then it worth but this roller coaster will be one you don’t want to get off because the Narrators suck you in and make you feel that you are right there in the room watching this all play out.
Highly recommend, please check your trigger warnings and be ready for yet another cliff hanger that will have you wanting to throw your headphones

Saved by J. M. Johnson is the second book in The Devil's Disciples series.
This is an amazing story and very addictive! This book is all plot and spice, but for the love of god send the FMC to a bloody therapist before I mürder her myself! Once again this book ends on another CLIFFHANGER, slamming another door in your face! Dante is a favourite MMC, and Vienna is the cherry on top of the cake, he is the comedic relief and he does it so well! Vienna is a teddy bear and I need him in my life!
I have to say that in this book I resonate the most with Dante and his feelings. While he is hot-headed, and borderline abusive, ok ok he is abusive, his internal monologue made me laugh so hard, but I swear I would be as hot-headed as he is when dealing with Rachel, who I swear all I want is to mürder or peg her myself, she is so immature and childish, mouthy and utterly annoying. I need her ARC to kick in for Dante and Vienna's sake.
The plot twists, the banter, the characters, the toxic relationship, the bloody spiceereeeee, the rollercoaster of emotions everything makes this book another masterpiece from J. M. Johnson.
Audiobook: is absolutely amazingly performed by Lucy Rivers and Ben Heart it with the brilliant cameo by Joe Arden as Vienna, this is the perfect trio! This audiobook brings everything on the table and is just absolutely perfectly edited and produced by Blue Nose Audio!

J.M. Johnson blew me away with the first book of her “Devil’s Disciples” series, “Stolen,” the start of Dante and Rachel’s story, and after that cliffhanger ending, I needed this book pronto. This book picks up immediately after “Stolen” ended, a not to be missed book, and J.M. Johnson not only kept up with the momentum she created in that book but she outdid herself with this one, delivering a fast-paced story that hooks you in and takes you on a wild ride, Dante and Rachel’s wild ride. The chemistry between these two is explosive, and so is their relationship, with the push and pull, but it worked for them, because Rachel could give as good as she got and then some. Besides their relationship storyline, the fallout from the betrayal of one of their own causes more drama and issues for the club and with their rivals, which keeps you on your toes. Rachel fit in well with the Disciples, stepped up when it all hit the fan, and took it even further when no others were going to do what needed to be done, for the safety of the club. She has a grim feeling about the future, and thinking of Bea, who she has bonded with, and wants to keep her safe and away from the danger, but Dante thinks she is safest with the club. Rachel being Rachel, does the unthinkable, though I get why she does it, but it pushes Dante to do the unthinkable, which led to heartbreaking consequences, and then that jaw-dropping ending. There is never a dull moment in this book, and I loved all the layers of the story and how it all plays out, with non-stop drama, witty dialogue and banter, action, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions with all the feels, from laughs to tears, and super steamy romance. The writing, plot and world building are incredible, as are the complexity of the characters, their growth and development. J.M. Johnson, thank you for this amazing story and wild ride. I can not get enough of these characters and am looking forward to what is in store for them next.
🎧📚🎧Wow, this trifecta of talent, Lucy Rivers, Ben Hart and Joe Arden, talent that knows no bounds, continues their stellar performance of bringing these characters and their story to life. Rivers is a natural in Rachel’s role, embodying her personality completely, handling her kind of unhinged chaos and wit with ease, as well as her caring side with Bea. Ben Hart was just as amazing as Dante and did the same with showcasing all aspects of his personality completely and was swoon-worthy in the role. They are fantastic at performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too, including young Bea. We get more sides of Vienna’s personality in this book, and Joe Arden kills it in the role, balancing his humor, his darkness and all in between. You could feel how much heart and passion these voice artists put into their performance, conveying all the character’s emotions and making you feel each one. They are entertaining storytellers, and their enthralling performance keeps you hooked.
